Full time safe jobs for working teens provide teens a safer and secure environment. This is what every teen wants. Most teens are very enthusiastic and eager to learn. They make work with a lot of fun. But teens get injured on the job when they do not receive adequate safety training and supervision. Finding full time safe jobs for working teens is quite difficult for the teen as well as the parents. In United States, in every six minutes a teenager gets injured seriously on the job. Every year about 70 teenagers die from work injuries in the United States.
Jobs can be a great way to gain experience and expertise in the field. But teens need a full time safe job. They should not be caught in the worst jobs. A study in America identifies five worst jobs that are inappropriate and unsafe for teenagers. They are delivering and driving or operating any motorized equipments, working alone in cash based businesses such as gasoline stations, stores and fast food places, traveling teen groups like selling magazines, candies etc, and construction work which includes working in heights and electrical power. There are full time safe jobs for working teens which offer teens a worthwhile life experience. Parents of teenagers must be watchful of their teenager’s jobs and should ensure their child’s safety and well being.
For working teens of age 14 and 15, they can work after school hours and vacations. They can take up any clerical jobs and can work up to eighteen hours per week. For teens of age 16 and 17, they can take up full time safe jobs. If they are enrolled in school they may work up to 28 hours per week. They are required to have a work permit for working and it must be signed by parents.
Full time safe jobs for working teens can be searched by visiting sites that focus on teen job opportunities. It can be searched by the type of work and location which generates a list of jobs. There is a wide spectrum of opportunities and teens can decide on jobs that interests them. Teens can also check with the local teen job sites of their state as well as in the newspaper.
Many teenagers are eager to work and earn money. They have many things to offer but they are new and inexperienced to the field. They are hesitant and tentative to ask questions about the job. Parents should guide them and talk to their teenagers about full time safe jobs while they are looking for a job.
Full time safe jobs for working teens provide an ideal condition and environment for the teens to work. This would prevent work place injuries. Parents should teach their teenagers and help find safe jobs according to the teen wants. So say no to unsafe jobs and enjoy working in a full time safe job.
