How can I find the original store price of my skis/bindings, and boots?
I just bought skis and boots at a resale/retail ski and snowboard sale. I got Technica Rival X9 boots that were used (they fit the best and were comfortable), for $170. I got K2 Comanche Jr skis with marker 10.0 bindings for $170. And I got them waxed for $5.
Was this truly a good deal? I also buy on impulse (although this was a planned purchase, I just didn't know what to expect for price), but I always wonder afterwards whether I did do good on my sale shopping. I always shop sales, and try really hard to get good deals.
The boots were used.
The bindings were already attached to the skis. They aren't junior bindings, but I don't know where to look to tell you more about them.
The Technica Rival X9 boots are on the higher end, they are probably stiffer for the more experienced skiers. The boots were origionally Around $500. So if they were new, thats a pretty good deal.
The skis were origionally $280, But could be had for around $100 if they were last season models.
As for the Marker 10.0 bindings, there are alot of versions of Marker 10.0. If they were the jr ones, they are around $100-150. If they were last season's models, i would expect it to be around 50% off bringint it to $50-75.
So the prices of the things you got were just normal clearance prices. Nothing big, but it aint small either.
