Can you recommend snowboard wrist guards (or gloves with built in wrist guards)?
I've been doing a lot of research but can't find many reviews on the differences between wrist guard brands.
From my research, it looks like the most popular are Level Gloves (with Biomex technology) and Flexmeter Gloves and Guards. These two brands are pricey, but appear to use a more advanced flexible technology as opposed to hard plastic.
Then there are gloves and guards by Dakine and Seirus, these are much cheaper and appear to use hard plastic.
I wear the DAKINE wrist guards. I've had a pair for the entire 7 years I've been snowboarding and I wear them every time. I am actually amazed at how long they have held up. I have fallen literally hundreds of times and so far no broken wrists. They also make gloves that have them built in, but I haven't personally tried them. It would be nice though to have them built into the glove because it is sometimes hard to get your gloves on over the wrist guards.
Bottom line with wrist guards... it is still possible to break your arm or wrist while wearing them. But it does reduce your risk, and considering it is one of the most common injuries in snowboarding they are a really good idea.

But at the same time since it is a sport that involves much exposure to the snow the garments selected should be water proof and warm so you might enjoy the game to the fullest without discomfort due to the cold.
Make sure you wear warm, comfortable clothing. Snowboarders spend a good amount of time sitting on the ground, so waterproof snowboard pants are a must . You might also want to hire a helmet and wrist guards, if at all possible, to attenuate the chance of injury on your first day.
The best way to select this is to see if the board when standing straight up touches your chin.
If you're a beginner it is the most advisable thing to hire a board and boots. When you're finished with your lessons and find that you may be able to work by yourself, then you could try a little bit of tricks to enliven the game. You can try Ollie which is a method of leaping into the air while going down a slope.
Safety measures are of much seriousness, particularly with the clothes that you select for the sport and more so the head and wrist gears like gloves and helmets which are vital to the riders.

Should i ski or snowboard?
im going to the snow in december/january and i dont kno which one to do!
last year was my first year snowboarding, and i broke my wrist going backwards, but i had tons of fun!
ive never skied, but it seems kinda fun, which one should i do?!?!?!?
Skiing is much easier and just as fun!

Where can I buy Wayfarer style frame(tortoise..not black) with a clear lens?
Hey, I've been looking around google for some of these with no luck.
I'm trying to look for a wayfarer style frame, tortoise colored, that has a clear non-prescription lens.

Framed Art Crafts-Create Beautifully Framed Art Work by Simply Giving an Old Frame a New Lease on Life
Just about everyone has had picture and art frames that they have thrown out because the glass is broken, missing, or they just got bored with it. Why not recycle your worn and withered frames to create a beautiful unique framed art design that would look great in any home décor.
To start out, cut a piece of cardboard and mount it to the back of the wood frame large enough to cover the opening of the frame and secure it with clear packing tape. The cardboard now replaces the missing glass and will hold your project in place. Next, cut decorative finished scrapbooking paper to the size of your frames opening. Blk Frame
How do I connect a Ignition Timing Light Properly???
I have a Honda vtec b18c1 4cy dohc engine.
I bought an Inductive Craftsman Timing Light (Non Dial Type just basic). All wires form into a electrical plug that goes into timing light. One Wire has a little clamp to be hooked on to the #1 Ignition Wire ( Close as possible to the spark plug boot) . The other two wires consist of a red clamp and a blk clamp .
The manual it states 2 different ways to hook up B&R Clamps.
Positive Ground Systems - Says place blk clamp on (-) Terminal on Battery and place red clamp on a ground (They suggest alternator bracket or engine block)
Negative Ground Systems - Says place red clamp on (+) Terminal on Battery and place blk clamp on a ground....
Im almost positive that my car is a Negative Ground because off the (-) terminal, there is a wire that is secured down to the engine frame. Am i correct on this?
The manual states dont hook blk clamp to (-) term and red to(+). Why is this? Whats a good spot on engine block for ground?
Hook the red terminal to the positive (red) battery terminal and the other to the black. Hook the inductive pickup around plug wire number 1 like it says. Alternately the negative (black) terminal can be connected to any ground on the vehicle as it makes no difference. Be sure to keep all wires away from your fan. If you haven't seen a timing light used, I strongly urge you to talk to someone who knows more about it. Cars have both a static and dynamic timing. If a car is out of timing either could be responsible. Newer cars are computer controlled and while a timing light may give information, the computer controls the timing.
