Stiffener Stiff

i ve suspension-lifted a suzuki jimny. im using mercedes (front) and taiwan (rear) coil springs with tough dog my shock absorbers are tough dogs. now.... i feel the ride is abit too stiff for daily ride comfort. im contemplating some options: 1. place a water pillow under my driver's seat (to absorb shocks) - cheapest choice. 2. install heavy side steps (so as to weigh down the vehicle making it not so bumpy) - not cheap, yet put on weight for the vehicle thus more petrol consumption. adv is its useful for off-roading. 3. maybe will just do both. 4. my friend mentioned spring stiffeners will help in the ride comfort. But am not sure.... cos stiffeners supposed to harden the ride some more?...? Adding the stiffener will do just that stiffen the ride, you could first try just lowering the air pressure in the tires by a few pounds to see if that helps, you could also remove one of the leaf springs from each side to soften the ride.
